Not a good week. At all. The Giants are in the midst of a 7-game losing streak, including sweeps at Minnesota and at home against the Padres. At 10 1/2 games back of a playoff spot, tied with Arizona now, with 32 games left, the season is over. What went wrong? Who’s to blame? What can they do? The only goals left are to have a winning month, get close to .500, and see what the young bucks have in their tanks. 2022 is turning out to be an extremely disappointing season for a team that set a franchise record with 107 wins last year.
