It’s confirmed — The TortureCast will be making the journey out to Spring Training! We’re aiming for the middle of March but there’s a lot of details that have to be sorted out…like the exact dates…and which of us will be going…and which games we’ll be seeing…and, you know, what to have for lunch, and that sort of thing.
If you’re going to be in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area during mid-March for Spring Training, leave a comment, catch us on Twitter, or send us an email at mail@torturecast.com! As a podcast by fans for fans we’d be remiss if we didn’t try to meet some of you while we’re out there. We promise to get you more details as March gets closer!
I listened to Torturecast # !8 after meeting Chad at Fanfest. I was impressed and have suggested it to my Giants friends, especially those back east. You may not be aware of this, but you are providing a wonderful service to Giants fans outside the Bay Area. In the same way that I, born in Queens and a Mets fan after my (New York) Giants moved west, listen to Mets Musings to stay in touch with my Mets, you, in a sense, will be performing the same for your Giants community. You serve them well, but would serve them, and me, better, if you kibbutz a little bit less. I’ll slowly come up to speed, and listen to 1 – 17. Bottom line: you guys are good!
Not sure what Kibbutz means, perhaps it was my water cup with ice in it. I forgot to hit the mute button or NOT HAVE ICE in my water!! Meh, it was after a long day. We should be recording this Sunday evening.

Oh! Here’s the link to my write up of FF, Chad. Some of your comments weren’t included, but I would give my lame right arm to sit down with you and my digital voice recorder another day and really have it; maybe at a game? Kindest Regards, Michael, AKA: Grubby Glove.

Michael, I’m certainly going to try and make more than a handful of games this year. You can reach me at chad@torturecast.com
