Oracle Park Food Review!

It’s back! For a third year in a row, I was invited up to Oracle Park for the San Francisco Giants’ Media Open House where they rolled out the orange carpet to showcase the new promotions, music, shwag, and more. But, the highlight is always the food tasting that closes down the event. I was able to try a bunch of new offerings, including a loaded baked potato, elote hot dog, paradise hot dog, kimchi quesadilla, fuko crispy spicy chicken sandwich, buffalo ranch pretzel, meatball sandwich, a s’mores pretzel, lychee and…well, it was hard to not each all of every item, because I needed room for the remaining items…

Food Tasting at Oracle Park!

Chad reviews some of the new food offerings at Oracle Park for the 2024 San Francisco Giants season.

I had the distinct pleasure of visiting Oracle Park for their Media Open House last week. The Giants’ organization knows that the only reason so many media show up for this is the free food…it’s literally a free lunch. But, many of us pseudo-media (and media) types also share their thoughts on what’s tasty and what’s not, which gets the word out, and potentially hypes up the offerings.

Enjoy this short video where I chomp through eight offerings (mostly new). They include the Crab sandwich, Cove crab noodles, “Baby Bull” sandwich, onion rings, Fuku spicy chicken sandwich and their chicken tenders, bacon cheesburger, a baseball mitt sundae, and strawberry milk tea. I didn’t have the time or stomach capacity to taste the vegan sausage or the go-to Tony’s Pizza, but those were low on my list anyway.

Enjoy! Also, don’t forget about our 2024 Season Preview show coming out on Monday!

Hey, it’s not a Bonussode! (which are totally great, btw, you should probably listen to them).

Willie, Ben and Chad wrap up the disappointing 2013 season to talk about why they “didn’t win it all,” what they need to do in the post season, and our playoff predictions.

Don’t worry, we’ll have occasional podcasts and blog posts during the off-season, especially has the hot stove gets a bit warmer. The Giants brass has a lot of work ahead of them to fill the rotation, address bullpen depth, and get a solid left fielder, and we’ll be here to talk about it.
